SONA: My Say

July 23,2012,Monday.

President Benigno Aquino III delivered his 3rd State of the Nation Address at the Batasan Pambansa starting at about 4:00 pm.

We watched the SONA in NCSHS since it was Monday.I nearly fell asleep but managed to hold it off(okay, so maybe I slept a little).But let me talk about the SONA.

It was very long,starting at 4:00 pm and I think it ended at about 6:00 pm.I read that it was the longest SONA ever.I didn't finish it but I read the rest of it on the internet.He spoke fluently and his powerful voice echoed through the building as he spoke of his accomplishments and goals while people rallied outside saying the opposite.He talked about projects,the economy,and the current state of the country.Senators and other officials attended the SONA.

I think that some of his accomplishments stated in the SONA is misleading. WHY IS THAT you ask? Well,flip the TV on and you can see that the crime rate has not increased nor has it decreased and many other things like that. It's like the accomplishments was ineffectual. Some of it did little to help our country.

I am not saying I am against the SONA.I am just saying that we should make goals or plans that can really help the Philippines and we should make it really work and make it effective.I was very impressed though at how he delivers his speech and how he can talk straight for an hour and a half.I hope that the goals he mentioned will be fulfilled and be done soon.

President Noynoy is a good president.He is just doing his job,a job that is not easy at any rate, and that is helping the Philippines grow and be a better place.

Every Afternoon....

As I groggily walk out of our classroom and onto the school gate,I do the first thing on my mind.Look for the service.If it is not there yet,I will dump my stuff at the waiting shed and go buy a few snacks.But if I spot that metallic blue-greenish colored van,I immediately run to it and find ate Paula and Mr. Cuarteros sitting on the front seat of the van.

My should-be bromidic afternoon is always replaced with happiness and fun once my service mates have arrived.We often joke around, take a walk,buy some food,stuff like that while waiting for our other service mates.They are my constant companions.They cheer me up when I am bored.They are like my older brothers and sisters in the school.

When I heard that I was going to have a service,I thought "Groan. This is gonna be awkward."But soon I got used to it,and I realized it's better than commuting,besides the fact that I have to wait until 7 because some of my service mates have lyre practice.


So,are you thinking of not getting a service? Try it!It might be helpful in many ways than one.

Boredom Strikes again!!!

Boredom.The state of being bored.It is one of people's greatest enemies.Frankly,you can't avoid boredom.Well,you can,but what I mean is that no matter what you do you'll always end up being bored.That's my current state. Like a video game,trying to evade boredom,yet failing badly.

But why does this have to happen when I have lots of time to waste....er,spend? But when I have lots of things to do,the possibilities are endless!The internet has lots to offer, especially.This always happens to me,I think even everyday!

I was supposed to tell you about me and my situation now,but ended up writing an instant article about boredom!And to think that I made a post about boredom because I am bored.

A Mundane yet Special Day

I know what you're thinking. "How can a day be special when it is mundane?"Well,I'll tell you. That is what the  post is for.(You probably know that already)

Well,today is the Intramurals of NCSHS,as stated in yesterday's post.As I told you also,I have no games or sport to play. So I was just sitting on my chair,playing and reading on my phone.I also ate,breathed,and walked.I almost made it halfway to Naga City Civic with some of my classmates,but we started talking about some stuff,and turned back.That was probably the only exercise I did today.

But today is my first intrams in NCSHS,and also in my High School life.WELL,I did expect it to be more...active.You know,me all tired and dripping with sweat,trying to win,stuff like that.But as  people say,Never give up.There's always another chance. Next year,I will make it the most memorable thing I have done!(Am I too being too dramatic?)

Intramurals in NCSHS: Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the intrams of Naga City Science High School.No,I'm not nervous,and I'm not confident either. I'm just gonna be a bystander,cheering and yelling as my batchmates play against the higher levels.

Badminton has always been my sport,coz' I'm too short for basketball,too weak at volleyball and too inexperienced at scrabble and chess. Meh,it dosen't matter anyway. During the cerberus cup,I didn't play any sport at all. I was practically doing nothing at that time.Even today,at practice,I did nothing but sit, read,walk,and eat.

But,hey,we're supposed to have fun during intrams,right? So I will have fun tomorrow.I will support my batch mates.My cheering and yelling might help them win, And next time,I will do my best to get in the team.

A Typical Weekday Night

I'm rushing to get my homework done while my little brother(Enzo) bugs me,and my mom telling me to do it quickly so Enzo could sleep.My sister's also doing the same,although less rushed. 10:00 pm.I'm still doing my homework, My mother tries to make Enzo sleep with the lights on.Distractions can be found in every place. Why does this always happen?!I try to change it,but to no avail. *sigh* Life's like that.

The Friday Night Fight

Friday night. I'm rushing to go home. When the service stops at my house,I quickly ran to our house,greeted my grandma and kissed my mom.Then I went upstairs,only to find that my sister had beaten me to it.As usual. 

The computer fight has been going on with us for years.Ever since our parents bought the computer,we have fought hard. Especially my brother who has become a tech-addict(he's telling me to use another computer right now). My older sister,on the other hand just checks her Facebook account from time to time.My younger sister's all games and YouTube.I just check 9gag,Facebook,scary for kids, and ragestache.Sometimes my little brother plays Zombie Bowl-o-Rama.He's 4(yes,4 years old.Weird huh?) But my brother checks out lots of websites and links,etc.The internet often slows down because of his uncountable tabs. He especially likes gadget sites and stuff like that.And usually he's the one using it due to projects and other stuff like that.(but trust me,he's a procrastinator.)

We have 3 computers in our house.One is old and broken but still usable,and the other 2,let's just say that they're used but new. But with only 1 internet connection(and a WiFi spot),the fight begins.

ARRRRRGGGGHH!!!!!

Gosh,making a blog is not as easy as I thought it would be. Right now,I'm banging my head on the table,desperately trying to think of a new post to make. Right now,this is the only post I can think of.The ideas I once thought of floated away from my brain. Now my mom's shouting at me,asking me how many posts I have made. Great. Just great.

I've been writing since I was a little kid but this is the first time I've made a blog. Although I'm nervous,it feels nice to have a spot in the internet where I can compile and write my ideas and thoughts.


Anyways,here are some info of moi just to give you a background of my life.


My mom and dad named me Alessandra Therese T. Turiano(aka Alex), I am aged 12.My birthday is March 11,2000.Don't forget to give me a present.(joke!)If you really want to give me a present, my address is Guevara St, San Vicente,Pili Camarines Sur. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The academy I am currently being educated in is Naga City Science High School.I graduated at Blessed Name of Mary Learning School.

My hobbies include writing,drawing, reading,and surfing the net. I am also quite fond of playing badminton and swimming(just the part where I relax and play in the water)I like to watch anime and read manga..I have a brown and a black rabbit named wabbit and yabbit(cool name.LOL!).I like to eat specifically sweet-salty foods and drink liquids (specifically NOT condiments and body fluids.) I am a klutz. I am also forgetful,and thanks to that I have lost a number of expensive and valuable things.I want to tell you more,but this is getting very long and I don't want to bore you to tears. :)
