Goodbye, Shortened Period :'(

For the past few weeks, NCSHS has been having Shortened Period: you take 10 minutes off each subject (except for recess and lunch. YAY!) and at 3:15, you have free period. Feel free to do anything you want. The reason why is because the DLMO, CAT, and other clubs have been practicing for the Penafrancia Festival. But now that the festival's done, we are back to the regular period. Too late. I got used to the shortened period. I even forgot that we have a recess after 2nd subject!

Goodbye, Shortened Period. I will miss you. See you next year. (If I'm still around.) :'(

(Dramatic much?)

Procrastinating - I'll do it tomorrow.

Here I am, eyes transfixed at the computer screen, searching and doing useless stuff to waste time. Yes, I have homework, but I thought, "Eh, no big deal. I'll do it tomorrow." My mom's yelling at me to do my homework, but, no way, Jose! I try to ignore her voice as I watch viral videos and read 9gag and ragestache. I pay no attention to my siblings' constant bugging and badgering and concentrate on my tetris game instead. 10:00 comes and my half-asleep mother shakes me and tells me to go to bed. I am still hypnotized by the random tabs I have opened and insisted that I stay longer. She scolds me and repeats that I go to bed. I grumble, say goodbye to the computer, and turn it off.. I flop down in bed and stare at the ceiling until my head feels foggy and I drift off to sleep.

The next day, in school, I was rushing to do all my homework and other stuff before the bell rings- in other words, cramming. I looked around the room and saw that not few of my classmates are also trying to finish the homework. The bell rings and I tend to be the last one to go out of the room. And when the flag ceremony is done, I race to the room and start doing it again.

Procrastinating seems so good, yet so bad. (If you know what I mean) And if I don't lose that habit, I'm bound to be out of NCSHS faster than you can say "STOP PROCRASTINATING!" I tried taking it out of my mind, but technology seems to be screaming "USE ME! USE ME!" everywhere. Technology affects my mind and turns it into spaghetti. I've become lazy and tend to use technology instead of doing important stuff. I've even procrastinated this blog, which I haven't minded for several weeks. I think I'll finish this tomorrow.

I'm just kidding, of course. If I don't finish this now, my mom's gonna come at me with an assault rifle. (I'm exaggerating. But maybe I really need to finish this.) Well, a message to all of you out there: DON'T PROCRASTINATE. It's bad, and it brings you pain both in the mind, and in your grades.

I think I'll put another post in my blog next week. :)
